Welcome to Spin Laundry Lounge: Portland's Premier Laundromat
ENERGY EFFICIENT EQUIPMENT — WASH & DRY in 45 Minutes
State-of-the-Art Electrolux Machines
Our laundromat is equipped with Electrolux 450 G-force washers and dryers featuring EcoPower technology, recognized as the most energy-efficient machines in the world. These machines are designed to reduce wear and tear on even your most delicate laundry, with custom cycles that can handle everything from wool blankets to down comforters and pillows.
Already have a washer and dryer at home? You can still significantly reduce the amount of time you spend each week doing laundry, reduce your carbon footprint, and trim your water and electricity bill.
Large Capacity Washers & Dryers
Our laundromat features state-of-the-art Electrolux machines with washer capacities up to 75 lbs. and dryers up to 83 lbs., allowing you to wash and dry up to 8 loads simultaneously. Whether you have a month's worth of laundry or just a few items, our large capacity machines drastically reduce your laundry time.
Washer Capacities: 18-lb (2 loads), 30-lb (3 loads), 60-lb (6 loads), 75-lb (8 loads)
Dryer Capacities: 50-lb, 83-lb
Fast Cycles
Experience our quick wash cycles, which run approximately 16-20 minutes, and dryers that take about 24 minutes, depending on your load and temperature settings. You can complete your laundry in under an hour, allowing you to get in, get out, and get on with your day!
Hypoallergenic Washers & Dryers
Spin has Oregon's first and only completely hypoallergenic machines - perfect if you are sensitive to harsh chemicals commonly found in commercial laundry products. If using these machines you must use our complimentary fragrance-free hypoallergenic and biodegradable Spin Soap and/or purchase our Spin Soap Oxygen Brightener (brightens whites and colors) or Charlie's Soap products. No other soaps are allowed in these machines to ensure they are always free of any harsh chemicals or toxins. Our hypoallergenic machines consist of two washers and two dryers and are available at our Fremont location only.
Spin Savings
Doing laundry at Spin is cheaper per pound than any other Portland-area laundromat. Wash cycles may cost a little more than old school top-loading washers, but the high extraction speed of Spin's washers makes up for it. Clothing comes out squeaky-clean* and contains less water. This saves you money (and tons of time) on your dry cycle - only 3-4 quarters.
* Spin's machines are the cleanest in Portland: every load includes a free sanitizing rinse.
